9500 Series – 48-Port Gigabit Layer 3 Managed Ethernet Switch with 4 × 1/10 G SFP+ uplinks – Q-EP-9500-48P-L3-4G-R
The Quant 9500 Series Layer 3 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switches deliver enterprise-class
performance, scalability, and security for next-generation campus, branch, and industrial networks.
Engineered with a high-performance switching architecture, the 9500 Series offers 24 or 48 Gigabit
Ethernet access ports and four 1/10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink interfaces, providing wire-speed
connectivity, low latency, and high availability for mission-critical applications.
With a non-blocking switching capacity of up to 216 Gbps and hardware-based forwarding, the
9500 Series ensures consistent throughput even under full-load conditions. It supports a
comprehensive suite of Layer 3 routing protocols, including RIP, OSPF, and BGP, enabling dynamic,
resilient, and scalable enterprise network designs. Advanced QoS mechanisms, ACL-based security,
and multicast optimization guarantees reliable delivery of latency-sensitive traffic such as VoIP, video
streaming, and industrial control data.
Designed for today’s converged infrastructure, the Quant 9500 Series integrates IPv4/IPv6 dual
stack routing, VLAN segmentation, QinQ, and link aggregation (LACP) for flexible network
virtualization and traffic management. Resiliency is built-in with STP, RSTP, MSTP, and ERPS (G.8032)
providing sub-50 ms recovery for uninterrupted communication during link or node failures.
The switch’s 800MHz/dual-core 1GHz CPU, large buffer memory, and energy-efficient hardware
platform enable intelligent Layer 3 services without compromising performance or stability.
Designed for reliability, it features redundant AC power, 4 kV surge protection, and a durable metal
rack-mount chassis for continuous 24×7 operation in demanding enterprise and campus
environments.
Comprehensive management capabilities include a user-friendly Web interface, full-featured CLI
(Telnet/SSH), SNMP v1/v2/v3, and HTTPS, providing consistent visibility and control across the
network. Integration with LLDP and Quant Network Management System (QNMS) simplifies topology
discovery, fault isolation, and centralized policy administration.
With its combination of high-density Gigabit access, intelligent Layer 3 routing, and carrier-grade
resiliency, the Quant 9500 Series delivers a powerful and cost-effective foundation for building
secure, high-performance enterprise networks.
